Some of the many cool dustjacket book cover illustrations and designs by Aaron Douglas. In addition to being a noted painter and muralist, Douglas created numerous dustjacket covers in the 1920s and 30s, and was a regular illustrator for magazines such as The Crisis and Opportunity. His murals Aspects of Negro Life (1934) are on display at the Schomburg Center in New York City.
